Hi,First up, an introduction. I'm Liam Bradford, I'm one of the three founding members of Melting It Productions and I'm the one that's going to be blogging. I'd love to say this is going to be a weekly affair, but, in reality, it's all going to be a bit ad-hoc.
This is all pretty new, not sure blogging was ever really something we intended doing at Melting It. However, there's a reason behind it and, because we firmly believe in the spirit of honesty, I'm going to tell you why.Search Engine Optimisation. SEO. The dark arts of crafting a useable, searchable, and Google friendly website. A couple of weeks ago, I had a chat with a lovely company who had been recommended to us because we weren't seeing the traffic to the website that we thought we deserved. It turns out that the previous platform we'd built out old website on didn't really offer the tools we needed to make sure we were properly findable. So started the quest for a new website and one that had all of the tools we needed to make a real fist of this.
We got some quotes together and decided that forking out anywhere betwenn £3000 and £5000 probably wasn't in the best interests of our fledgling company and we decided to go our own way. We eventually landed on Wix.com and, first impressions are that it's absolutely the business. The website looks and performs well and the tools available to get this SEO malarky working seem to be much more complete in comparison to our previous website supplier.
So there you go. I'm blogging because it helps with the clicks and clicks mean customers, apparently.

Fortunately the ABOUT section of the website does a pretty good job of telling you who we are and the SERVICES section does a pretty good job of telling you what we do.
